In 2000, George and Pati Harris moved to Silverton, OR and started Garden Thyme Nursery.   They started with building a single greenhouse and now the nursery has display gardens and produce over 300 varieties of perennials, herbs and vegetable starts. 

Our Mission

We are a local Silverton Oregon nursery with an emphasis on drought tolerant and deer resistant plants. We grow over 300 varieties of low maintenance, vigorous plants with extended bloom length. We limit our use of pesticides or herbicides to minimize the environmental impact. We strive to provide you with the products and knowledge to create your dream surroundings, whether it may be a magnificently colorful mass planting or a calm, peaceful, serene setting or a garden full of wonderful vegetables and herbs.
